Arts Council Debuts The Whistle Pig Vol. 13 In-Person
The Mountain Home Arts Council will release the thirteenth volume of Southwest Idaho’s literary journal The Whistle Pig on Friday, Oct. 15, during an open-house event from 5 pm to 6:30 pm on the front patio of the Mountain Home Public Library (790 N 10th E). There will be short readings at 5:45, 6:00, and 6:15 pm, clips of which will also be uploaded to Facebook and Instagram. The Whistle Pig ($15, $10 for back issues), showcases select local writers and artists and is published annually by the Literary Arts Committee of the Mountain Home Arts Council. There will be a focus on safety and social distancing during the open house.
