2025 Summer Reading Program - Week One In-Person
The Summer Reading Program theme this year is “Our Our World”. Choose from a vast selection of popular and classic books to read all summer long and earn popular prizes. SRP is designed to help kids maintain or improve the reading skills they developed during the school year throughout the summer and is available to ALL kids ages birth through 18. (Non-residential students can receive a FREE library card for the duration of SRP to check out books.) This six-week program will include take & make crafts, a teen night, fun family events, and parent baskets. We also have an “Color my town...” scavenger hunt for an additional prize and raffle tickets. Summer Reading Program officially begins Monday, May 19th! The last day to report your reading will be Wednesday, July 2nd!
How it works:
- Track the number of minutes you read each week.
- Earn one (1) raffle ticket for every week (NOT per day) you read.
(If you cannot report every week, you may still collect your raffle ticket(s) earned from the previous week(s).)
- Earn EXTRA raffle tickets for EXTRA reading, completing the scavenger hunt, and attending Family Nights.
- Earn weekly incentives by reporting your reading progress every week and turning in your descriptive word dot.
(Different incentives are assigned each week and can only be earned during their assigned week. Incentives from missed weeks will not be given out.)
- Weekly raffle prizes will be drawn on the Monday following each week for the first 5 weeks.
REGISTRATION & REPORTING HOURS! MONDAY - FRIDAY 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM SATURDAY 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
